Lumineers Roslyn, NY

Lumineers An Overview

Lumineers, also known as minimal prep dental veneers, are a semi-permanent restoration that can treat a wide range of dental concerns. Unlike porcelain veneers, Lumineers are considered a reversible treatment that requires minimal tooth preparation. Lumineers are ideal for patients who want the aesthetic of porcelain veneers but are not ready for the commitment.

Roslyn cosmetic dentist Dr. Diana Pop can create natural looking, long lasting Lumineers for your cosmetic goals. Lumineers are created using ultra-thin ceramic that can be color matched to blend seamlessly with your smile.

Lumineeers may be used to address:

  • Cracked teeth
  • Damaged teeth
  • Chipped teeth
  • Align crooked teeth
  • Mishappen teeth
  • Enhance old dental work
  • Discolored or stained teeth
  • Gapped teeth

With the addition of Lumineers, patients can achieve a beautiful, natural-looking smile. As a highly trained cosmetic dentist, Dr. Pop can work with you to create Lumineers that blend with your natural smile. If you would like to determine if Lumineers are right for you, visit Bella Smiles Roslyn in Roslyn, NY.

Lumineers What to Expect

In most cases, Dr. Pop can complete the Lumineer procedure with two visits to our Roslyn, NY dental office. During your appointment, Dr. Pop will perform a full dental exam and discuss your cosmetic goals to determine if Lumineers are the right solutions for your needs. If Lumineers are right for you, Dr. Pop will begin planning your treatment. If necessary, Dr. Pop will remove a tiny amount of surface structure form the teeth to prepare them for bonding.

After the treatment planning phase, Dr. Pop will take impressions of the teeth. Dr. Pop will then send the impressions to a Lumineer laboratory for fabrication.

Once your custom Lumineers are completed, Dr. Pop will check the size, fit, and color to ensure a high-quality result. After the Lumineers are approved by you and Dr. Pop, she will carefully bond them to the prepared teeth. In most cases, Lumineers can last many years with proper care and maintenance.

If you are seeking a permanent restoration, Dr. Pop can work with you to determine if porcelain veneers are the right solution for you.
